Ulysses advised Daiwa Tech, a Japanese manufacturer of solar-powered housing units, in connection with the donation of its industrial products to Ukrainian state bodies. The donation was implemented within the framework of the Japan International Cooperation Agency’s (JICA) program supporting Ukraine and reflects the continued role of Japanese businesses in Ukraine’s post-invasion recovery effort.
Our advice covered the full legal groundwork for the donation: structuring and operating Daiwa Tech’s business in Ukraine, ensuring compliance with martial-law currency control restrictions, and navigating the regulatory requirements applicable to international technical assistance in Ukraine.
Ulysses’ team was led by Partner Volodymyr Chuba, supported by Senior Associates Bohdan Burlaka and Ruslan Yurchenko and Associate Oleksandr Poznyakov.
